I’m so sorry Jodi made you guys fly all the way to NYC to track down the money mule/scammer. It’s. a long trip for making a bust but you guys were only looking out for her best interest. Too bad you guys don’t know what she’s up to now, she could be still chatting with the scammer or just stopped all communication from both sides.

I think Jodi must have a disability, esp given her inappropriate racial comments at end in front of entire group.

Jodi could've easily just shut her mouth about her beliefs but she strongly agrees with what she says she is right. One day she is going to cross the wrong person with what she says and it won't be pretty.

I think we all know Jodi is so mentally embedded with thoughts of eternal love and happiness. Her brainwash cannot be corrected. She probably still continues to sell everything of value to get her “lover” back home as soon as possible. It’s sad and hard to watch. That’s years of psychological

I just watched the episode and let me play Jodi's advocate for a minute. Putting her racist beliefs aside, Jodi is obviously lower intelligence and has been programed for years to believe this scammers bullshit. If you see her body language attached to some of her comments, she was feeling attacked. Even though the people around her was doing it out of catching the bad guy, they were communicating in highly intelligent levels and basically approaching the subject in very aggressive ways. What do people do when they feel threatened, they defend. I think if she had felt safer in that group setting, she may have made some excuses but she would have been more open to being wrong. I also feel that many victims choose to believe the lies over being wrong because our society calls the people that falls for scams stupid, that they should know better. It takes a very confident person to be able to admit a foolish act. Scam victims tend to not be confident people, they are vulnerable people. I still think that her racist remarks were horrible but I think in the future it maybe beneficial to have someone with a pyscological back ground to help because it could help the victims be guided in accepting that they were a willing participant in a crime against themselves.

What makes you think that none of the people on the team have no background in psychology?

Pretty sure social catfish have that covered, considering their approach to the victims, someone has a background in psychology or a friendly advisor at least! This was purely and simply a bite the hand thats helping her!
