Dan is a 65-year-old father who spent his whole life running a concrete business in Canada. Like any parent, he dreamed of retiring with dignity and helping his kids. But all of that came crashing down when he was caught in a cruel crypto scam. He lost over $600,000 — his entire life savings — and now he’s fighting to keep his home.
When his daughter Alena reached out to us, we knew we couldn’t walk away. We traveled to Perry Sound, Canada, to meet them and film their story for our new TV show about scambaiting. The villain behind this scam is extremely sophisticated and evasive. Justice will come one day — but not soon enough to save Dan’s house.
