Since at least January, a website NextDayWorkingCapital as been sending me messages at least once a week trying to get me to send money for investment.
I reported the abuse to their registrar, Dynadot, but they refuse to do anything, once they sent me a message claiming to know what scamming is or being able to detect it, despite sending screenshots and copies of the E-mail. After months of reporting them, I reported Dynodot to ICANN, for when web hosting companies refuse to take action, I sent them the they too, say it's not actionable, even if it's just spam, it's still abuse. They didn't say why it was not actionable and said I can go to the police for it. There are a few other sites that try to scam me, they love using the word 'capital' in their name.
Same thing with Walmart not unsubscribing people, which used to be illegal. I sent E-mails to their registrar only to be ghosted.
Scamming has been so common, that is practically legal. The generally mentally and people not caring is scary and disturbing, how long before something worse becomes normal and accepted due to being so common? I get more and more scams, yesterday, I got one claiming to be Indigo book stores sending me a fake tracking, from getconvey.com. What is actually considered abusive anymore? CP? How long until that becomes the norm and I believe it will be in a few years with the way things are going. There are hordes of people who want to be make this world as awful as they can possibly make it. Bad people are full of confidence while good people are full of doubt.
I made a purchase from BestBuy online, and their app was hacked. Scammers claiming I can sign up and get a rebate off of my purchase, and since it was in the app, and it looked like part of the app, which is why I fell for it. It was by SmartyPlus and joinfreedelivery. I messages BestBuy who refused to do anything about, surprise surprise. Scamming is all the rage today, like this hot new toy or gadget that everyone has to be apart of. Every little thing endorse something else to get a big result.
I don't know what to do about it. In the past few years alone, the internet has become a very dangerous and bad place, not including the drama that goes on social media on seemingly every post, which is increasing at an increasing accelerated rate.
